Seniors Natalie Ng and Shruthi Perati discuss their journey.
After learning to play golf with their families in elementary school, senior co-captains Shruthi Perati and Natalie Ng re-invigorated their love for the sport through the MVHS girls golf team under head coach Brian Sullivan. Perati and Ng led the team to a 2-12 record in the 2013 season despite joining the comparatively difficult Santa Clara Valley Athletic League, an improvement over last year’s no-win season in the Blossom Valley Athletic League. After playing their senior night game together, they reflected on their experience on the team.
