Those with information on the whereabouts of 63-year-old James Norberg are requested to notify police.

James Norberg was found sitting behind the Kennedy Middle School track on May 31 at 7:30 a.m., according to Santa Clara County sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Kurtis Stenderup.

According to a message from the City of Cupertino, the Sheriff’s Office is currently trying to locate a missing person, 63-year-old James Norberg. The Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Unit as well as a helicopter are currently searching local neighborhoods, parks and schools.
Norberg, who has dementia and is mute, was last seen at 11 a.m. today wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans, brown slippers and black socks around the area of Santa Teresa Drive and Rucker Drive. Norberg is 6 feet tall with a slim build; according to the message, he “walks with a shuffle.”
Anyone with information is requested to call 911.
