Variations delivers Singing Valentines to the school
On Feb. 14, Variations passed out their annual Singing Valentines. Junior Clara Takahashi, of the singing group “Love Bandits,” arranged the music her group sang on Noteflight, an online music arranging software. The group had three songs—”My Life Would Suck Without You” by Kelly Clarkson, “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles, and the “Mario Kart Love Song.” After the songs were perfected, the group started on choreography and costuming.
“I was really scared during our first [serenade],” junior Annie Blake-Burke said. “But we sang a song where [Takahashi] had a solo and she’s cool under any pressure, so it was good.”
