Marching band’s percussion section held one of their after school practices on Oct. 14. Drum line is just starting, with practices focusing on technique and basic exercises. Percussion director Chris Carrasco discusses drum line’s achievements and areas for improvement.
Custodian Tom Orsua has worked at MVHS for a total of eight years, diligently cleaning out the locker rooms, D-building classrooms and bathrooms from 3 p.m. to midnight every weeknight. He explains how the evening shift of his job affects his life, as well as his view of MVHS and his relationship with teachers and other staff.
