National Junior Olympics Water Polo competed at MVHS
On July 25-26 and J
uly 31 -Aug.1, MVHS accommodated the 2009 S&R Sport National Junior Olympics Games. MVHS was one of many high schools in the bay area that was a venue for the Junior Olympics. The boy’s 14 and under division, and girl’s 18 and under division, and girl’s 12 and under division competed on the MVHS campus. As a benefit of hosting the Junior Olympics, MVHS sold concessions as a fundraiser.
Local teams that competed in the Junior Olympics were the Stanford Water Polo Club and the De Anza Cupertino Aquatic Water Polo Team.
