In the modern day classroom, one challenge that teachers are virtually always confronted by is keeping students engaged. Whether by organizing games or assigning group projects, it seems that our teachers are always trying to find new methods to keep us interested. Among the most widely used methods is playing movies and other videos in class to supplement the curriculum. But how effective is this method? To find out, students were asked about the benefits and drawbacks, their personal experiences and whether they felt that movies should be shown in class more often or if the method is simply overused.
