Photographer Brandon Stanton started Humans of New York in 2010 in an attempt to photograph and catalogue the stories of 100 strangers in one of the world’s most formidable cities. A decade later, amidst a global pandemic where faces remain masked and strangers remain socially distanced, feeling disconnected is easier than ever. We created Humans of Cupertino to provide an intimate snapshot of 35 individuals — students, teachers and residents — and show how, even six feet apart, our stories are what keeps us together. Explore those stories here.
