Hawaii bans looking at phones while crossing the street: California may also do the same

Mayor of Honolulu, Kirk Caldwell, enforced a law expressing that pedestrians are not allowed to use their phone while crossing the street, and would be fined if they do so. The law was applied after the mayor realized the amount of deaths due to distracted pedestrians. After this law was implemented, officials in California thought of adopting the same law. Below is a video that shows Cupertino residents’ opinions on this matter.
