EE: What are the skills you think you will acquire in the future from La Pluma?

“Definitely talking to people because we have to interview a lot of people, so I will get to experience meeting new people.”

anusikhaAnusikha Halder (9)

EE: Why did you apply to be a staff member for La Pluma?

“I’ve always loved creative writing and I think La Pluma is a really good outlet to explore what I can do with writing. It allows for boundaries to be set so I can push myself. It is also collaborative so I can play off other people’s ideas. Everyone is immensely talented so I really want to work with them.”

EE: Why do you enjoy writing?

“Writing is just another art medium for me. It is the only way I can express myself – the way I choose to look at things. Words are the way I use to paint my expressions and dreams and visions.”

EE: What are the skills you think you will acquire in the future from La Pluma?

“I want to meet really cool writers, which I think I will because I’ve seen some of the previous works and they were amazing. Everyone is really nice. I just want to learn to be a better writer and someone who can work with other people.”
