The Mogo’s Korean barbeque truck will be at MVHS on Oct. 13. from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the rally court. Prices for short rib tacos, kimchi rice, spicy pork quesadillas and other food items range between $2 and $7.

“It will attract a lot of people to stay at school for a bit and eat and hopefully [they] will be willing to stay and help out with the other activities going on,” class of 2013 President  junior Cathy Ang said.

ASB contacted Mogo’s to encourage students to come to rally and quad decoration set up on the evening of Thursday, Oct. 13. It is also a fundraiser for ASB.

“I am really excited to eat food and just hang out with friends,” freshman Fiona Tiene said.

After seeing Key Club’s successful Mogo’s fundraiser last year, ASB decided to bring Mogo’s back to MVHS. The student body was informed through the ASB Facebook page, Tumblr and by word of mouth.

According to ASB Treasurer senior Kevin Chang, it is important that students who help out at quad decorations have their work appreciated, which will be done by promoting the event with Mogo’s allowing more people to take notice.

“Last year quad [decorations] didn’t turn out as big as we wanted them too, so we’ll use this opportunity to expand ideas and find a new way to get people to come,” Chang said.
