These days, club fundraisers like eating at Pizza my Heart or “Servants for a Day” go on for a couple of days, and never return until the following year. However, FBLA and DECA are paving a road to become an annual event with laser tag. “We wanted something that was social event [for members]. It’s Thanksgiving break, and we had two months of stress and everything,” DECA president senior Japheth Wong said. “[The event] is a play on the competition between the two clubs.” The friendly competition, held on Nov. 24 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., ran as the platform for the clubs’ promotion. The results: 1. Free for All2. Monta Vista FBLA vs. Lynbrook High School FBLA and Monta Vista DECA.
