Restaurant Roulette: Bell Tower Bistro

Restaurant+Roulette%3A+Bell+Tower+Bistro

Twice a month, El Estoque goes to restaurants around Cupertino and takes a chance by asking the waiter to personally choose the menu items for us. This week, we continued the alphabetical theme by going to the Bell Tower Bistro.

The Basics

Restaurant: Bell Tower Bistro

Location: 20490 Los Gatos Saratoga Rd, Saratoga, CA 95070

Menu:https://locu.com/places/bell-tower-bistro-patisserie-saratoga-us/#menu

Price Point: $$

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Seated around a booth, a family of five laughs and plows through stacks of waffles topped with  generous servings of whipped cream. In a corner seat, a Saratoga council member meets with a business partner over cups of steaming coffee. The warm and friendly atmosphere of the Bell Tower makes it a relaxing place for people of all ages. And in the early morning the scent of bacon on one side and freshly baked pastries on the other welcomes you to the restaurant.

When we walked into Bell Tower, we were greeted with smiles and freshly-squeezed orange juice. We found this same freshness in everything, from bread loaves, crepes and chips that are made from scratch to fresh cut and cooked country potatoes. Nahal, our waitress, also told us that they make their juices and pastries fresh every morning. Click on this text to hear more about Bell Tower’s atmosphere.

As a first time eggs benedict eater, I didn’t know what to expect. The dish arrived with a side of honeydew and orange slices and country style potatoes. Click here to hear more about the eggs benedict.

I was slightly skeptical when the Crepe Santa Cruz arrived. I’d never heard of a seafood crepe before, and I’m not the most adventurous eater. Click here to hear more about the crepe Santa Cruz

Priya and ZaZu

Already stuffed from the savory dishes, we were unsure of whether the strawberry croissant could tempt us into eating more. But the croissant called to us and we couldn’t help but finish it off. Click here to hear more about the strawberry croissant.
