Starting pitcher for the Matadors in their game against Fremont high school is senior Sheldon McClelland. McClelland is coming off of his start last week against Lynbrook in which he posted an E.R.A of 0.00 after pitching for four innings. Currently in league play the Matadors are tied for second with Gunn high school, both teams have a league record of 7-3. The Matadors current record against the Vikings is 2-0.
