Girls basketball CCS: Late game rally falls short vs. Salinas

The Matadors (14-12) went on an 11-1 run late in the fourth quarter, but they could not hold off the sixth-seeded Salinas High School Cowboys (18-8) as MVHS lost 50-53 in the second round of the CCS Division I playoffs on Feb. 23. Sophomores Stephanie Jennings and Tiffany Tsai combined for 22 points, 15 in the fourth quarter. Video by Dickson Tsai. Music: “Show Tonight” (instrumental, ft.
